About us

A UK sourcing company for professional imaging equipment

WYLLZ WORLD RETAIL LTD is registered in England & Wales, company number 16431106, founded in 2025. We source cameras, lenses, audio and accessories for businesses that need the right kit without paying UK high-street prices for it.

Why we started

It started with the cameras themselves

Cameras are a lovely way of capturing moments, and that is genuinely why I got into this. What I did not expect was how much of the job would turn out to be the other side of it: finding the right kit, at the right price, and getting it into someone's hands on time.

That is the part I enjoy most now. Helping a business make sure it has the equipment it actually needs, rather than the equipment it happened to find in stock that week, is a privilege and it is what the company is built around.

We started on eBay in 2025 supplying individual buyers, and grew into direct trade supply when businesses began asking for multiples of the same thing. Trade is where we are focused now.

How it works

How we source internationally

We work with an established overseas supply partner

Rather than buying from a UK distributor and adding our margin on top, we have a long-standing partnership with a supplier overseas. Their warehouse holds the stock, picks and packs our orders, and dispatches them, normally on the next working day after an order is confirmed.

We buy where the product is priced more keenly

Manufacturers price the same product differently from market to market. We buy genuine, factory-sealed stock in the markets where it is priced better and bring it into the UK ourselves. The trade calls this parallel or grey import, and it is a long-established and entirely legitimate way of supplying genuine goods.

We handle the import, not you

Shipping, customs clearance, import duty and import VAT are all ours to deal with, and they are settled before dispatch. The number on your quote is the number you pay, and nothing lands on you when the courier arrives.

The product itself is identical

Same manufacturer, same factory, same sealed box. What changes is the route it took to reach you and the price at the end of it. Occasionally the supplied documentation or a plug fitting is specified for another market, and where that applies we tell you before you order.

Cover comes from us

Because we source and import our own stock, your warranty is ours rather than a manufacturer's UK scheme. Twelve months on every camera and lens, handled directly by us. The full process is on our Warranty & Returns page.

Where we fit

How we differ from the alternatives

We are not trying to be the cheapest name in the market. We are trying to be a supplier you can rely on and come back to.

Traditional UK camera retailers

Strong on showrooms, stock on hand and same-day collection. You pay for all of that in the unit price, and trade discounts are usually thin. We run without a showroom or a sales floor, and that saving goes into the quote.

Grey import websites

A similar sourcing model to ours, but aimed at individual consumers buying one item from a fixed catalogue. We work the other way round: you tell us the requirement and the quantity, and we source against it.

B2B distributors

Deep catalogues and credit facilities, but built around account applications, minimum spends and procurement portals. We have none of those. You email a person and get a price back the next business day.

Procurement companies

They source on your behalf and charge a fee for the service. We are the supplier as well as the sourcing, so there is one margin in the chain rather than two, and one company accountable for the outcome.

What we are good at

Four things we can genuinely offer

Low overhead

No showroom, no sales floor, no warehouse of our own to fund. That difference lands in the price rather than in our costs.

International sourcing

Access to thousands of lines across the major manufacturers, refreshed regularly, and the ability to import them ourselves.

Flexibility

No minimum order, no account application, no fixed catalogue. If you need something we do not normally list, ask and we will try to source it.

Personal service

The person who prices your order is the person who ships it and the person who answers if something goes wrong. There is no ticket queue.

Why trust us

Everything we claim, you can check

We would rather point you at evidence than at adjectives. All four of these are verifiable without taking our word for anything.

Invoicing

How our invoices work

We are not yet VAT registered, so there is no VAT line on our invoices. We expect to register as turnover grows, and when we do it will be shown separately on orders placed from that point.

If your organisation is not VAT registered, and plenty of smaller businesses, sole traders, churches and charities are not, our price is simply the price. There is no 20% on top and nothing you would have reclaimed anyway. If you are VAT registered, VAT is neutral to you either way, so compare our price against your usual supplier's ex-VAT number, because that is the one we are setting out to beat.

Every order gets an itemised invoice from WYLLZ WORLD RETAIL LTD with our account details and your own payment reference. Payment is by UK bank transfer. We never ask for payment by gift card, crypto, or "a different account this time". If you ever receive such a request, it is not from us.
